 "The Original SS Deutschland was formed in 1935, and served as an elite
front-line combat unit throughout the war, in offensives in Poland, Russia, and
France, as well as fighting in the battle for Normandy after D-Day, in the
summer of 1944, and in the following Battle of the Bulge. Deutschland also
participated in the last offensive of the war, Operation Spring Awakening. The
unit fought with honor under difficult conditions, against multiple foes during
more than six years of war. We honor Deutschland by strict adherence to
authenticity!"
